just watched Bohemian Rhapsody on tv there and it highlighted Queen's part in the Live Aid concert in'85. It looked fantastic and they sounded amazing, even though it was someone else singing for Freddie Mercury. Anyone got any memories of this event they would like to share.

I remember Live Aid very well although I wasn't in attendance, I watched it all on TV, an event which has not been matched since, performers at the peak of their success doing all that for charity.

Live Aid was just amazing, everything about the day was superb, from the anticipation, to the actual event and the coverage on TV, I was too young to fully appreciate it, but I have relived it over and over on YouTube.

The best year of the 80s...
1986
of course
