The 80s nostalgia? ...constant 80s nostalgic youtube video comments under 80s music videos... ...80s nausea! My World City view and memories are from the 1960s until the mid. 1990s, vivid memories of New York, London, and the last of the Irish of Hell's Kitchen, with countless young adults from Ireland employed in NYC jobs living in small, working-class houses of the North Bronx (they, the Irish in their earliest 20s, were so clean and middle-classed and American in appearance they looked more like middle class office workers), and the Russians in Brighton Beach... the English Commerical Banks were always the best in New York City, and many other locations (National Westminster Bank, later NatWest, then spun off as Fleet Bank, then shut down, replaced by HSBC in January 1999 (Hong Kong Shanghai Bank of China, Communist Banking... an obvious failure), and Barclays (you could borrow personal loans never available from our own Banks in the history of our own Banks, the young English National Westminster employees here were more American than American, and friendlier than friendly, yet hate the U.S.A. since at least 2006))... to be polite and respectful, especially to our younger generations, I will not detail the horrible realities of the people of those times, then after... newspaper front pages will remind you... if you watch old videos of the 1970s Saturday Night Live introductions with pictures of New York City, you will see how dark the City was at night... then, through the years, brighter... our computer technology was slow to advance to where we are now... I thought the technological lags would never end... by 1979, 1980, 1981, I was already into performance and production of Professional Music Orchestra and Choir Sound Libraries for the first AKAI Sampler (3 at the same time) and new Yamaha DX7 Patches, then thought about re-writing compilers for computers to enhance networks, then designed security access for mainframe networks of grids, yes, as in our Midwest to Eastern Seaboard grid, then for the region including the West Coast... then we realized better than mainframe networks with Platforms over Substations over Local Networks for Public Sector and Private Sector and Customers... I can not be nostalgic about dystopian wardrobe, hair, and makeup of the 80s music acts... like the dirt of the dirtiest punk musicians after a bath, faces powdered white, hair teased into a mess, and sprayed... then longer, thicker than wigs... and the subtext of the lyrics continued very low-classed, vulgar violence. Interesting how the stimulant of choice was a 40 year State Prison sentence in New York State for possession until the mid. 1980s, yet none of the music "stars" were ever arrested and imprisoned in the U.S.A., aside from the fact many music "stars" had successful parents, others had very good backgrounds of their own in late adolescence... then became music "stars"... Our present time is a nightmare by comparison when you read the Government Reports of hundreds of thousands of annual overdoses with synthetic opioids in recent years... at least we finally see an improved quality of education and young people becoming higher-highest State Licensed health care professionals... entertainment improves... vulgar and obsene laws still apply, and vulgar and obscene language, or both... not necessary for humor, humour....
